A few weeks later, while Haley was visiting a bridesmaid in Wyoming, Mike reached out. From there, it was hours-long Facetimes, late-night phone calls, and discovering shared passions for cycling (both road and mountain), snowboarding, live music, and exploring the outdoors.

Our first date was at the Colorado symphony, seeing Gregory Alan Isakov. Since then, we have traveled to Chicago, Boston, Lake Tahoe, Seattle, Los Angeles, and countless Colorado spots to see our favorite musicians.

In our ten years together, we've shared two homes, adopted one very loved Shorkie named Leonidas, and watched Mike’s sons Ethan and Charlie grow from being shorter than Haley to towering over her. Together, we've blended into a modern family that loves cozy nights in with games and movies—still laughing at each other’s jokes just like that first night.
