Is the wedding outdoors?
Yes — our ceremony will take place outdoors, weather permitting. If conditions require, we’ll move the ceremony indoors so everyone stays comfortable. The reception will be held indoors immediately following the ceremony.
Is there ride share service in Pine?
There’s no rideshare service from Pine back to the Denver area, but rideshares can bring guests up from the Denver metro to the venue. We’ll provide a shuttle that returns guests down the hill to the Fairfield Inn & Suites Littleton. If you prefer a private ride down, please arrange a taxi or private car in advance. There is parking at the venue.
How should we prepare for the altitude?
Our venue sits at about 8,200 feet above sea level, so you may feel the effects of the altitude—especially if you're visiting from lower elevations. Here are a few tips to help you feel your best:
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Drink plenty of water before and during your trip to help your body adjust.
Take it easy at first. You might feel short of breath or lightheaded—this is normal. Give yourself time to acclimate.
Limit alcohol at first. Alcohol hits harder at higher altitudes, so pace yourself (especially the first night).
Wear sunscreen. UV exposure is stronger at altitude—even on cloudy days.
Pack layers. Going into the fall months, mountain evenings can be quite chilly.
If you have any health conditions or concerns, consider checking in with your doctor before traveling. We can’t wait to celebrate with you—mountain air and all!
What does cocktail attire mean?
Cocktail attire is semi-formal—elevated and polished, but not overly formal. Since our wedding takes place in the mountains, we recommend outfits that are both stylish and practical for the setting.
For women: A cocktail dress (knee-length or midi), dressy jumpsuit, or elegant separates are all great choices, and wedges, block heels, or dressy flats are ideal for some uneven terrain.
For men: A suit or blazer with dress pants and a collared shirt is perfect. Ties are encouraged but not required. Feel free to leave the tux at home. Dress shoes or clean loafers that can handle a natural setting are best.
Please avoid jeans, sneakers, or anything too casual—and there’s no need for gowns or tuxedos. We want you to feel comfortable and festive while celebrating in the fresh mountain air!
